About Me
I have been doing work as a psychic reader since 1995. Beginning in the summer of 2002, I worked as a rune reader at Turtle Island Books in Chicago. I specialize in rune readings, but I also do tarot and aura readings. I firmly believe in the dignity of all people, and I am happy to work with clients of any faith, creed, ethnic background, or sexual orientation.
I perform much of my psychic work using a technique that I call handsinging. Everything - people, animals, plants, even inanimate objects - gives off vibrational energy in both this realm and the spirit world. By attuning to these energies, I am able to pinpoint particular problem areas for my clients, and also offer solutions. I call the process handsinging because of the tingling sensation I get on my palms from the vibrations as I work; I liken it to the vibrations of strings on a musical instrument that produce notes. I read runes and tarot in much the same way, sensing my client's energy and the corresponding energy given off by a particular rune or tarot card.
Biography
I grew up in the mountains and forests of northwest Montana and it was there that I first made contact with some of the spirit entities with whom I work. I moved to the Midwest in 1985 when I first started college, and have lived in the region ever since. I currently reside in Chicago. I have dedicated myself to a Heathen (Germanic/Nordic neo-Pagan) spiritual path since 1991. The deity with whom I am in communion most is Balder, but I also work with others, such as Odin, the Vanir goddess Freya, and her brother Freyr. Besides my work in the metaphysical arena, I am also an academic. I have a Ph.D. in history, and am currently an adjunct professor of history and world religions at several Chicago area colleges and universities. I am also, since September 4, 2003, an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church.
